Panini: Disney's Tale Spin

I received an interesting stocking stuffer this past Christmas, a couple of packs of Tale Spin Panini album stickers from 1991.If you grew up during the 80's and 90's, you may have collected these along with similar sticker sets featuring popular animated TV shows and films.
I had thought that Panini was long gone, but according to their current website, they seem to be prospering in Europe and many other countries rather than North America like they used to.

Being a cartoon nut, I collected many of these sets because it was a unique way to own screen-shots of your favorite cartoon characters. I may still have some collections packed away somewhere and maybe I'll share some examples in the future.
If memory serves me, I collected album sets featuring the Looney Tunes, Tiny Toon Adventures, Darkwing Duck, Roger Rabbit, The Transformers, Garfield, Ghostbusters, Slimer!, Alf, The California Raisins, etc..etc...
Also I remember during the 80's, Panini was trying something creative with their sticker albums by providing 3D glasses with illustrations that would animate when you closed one eye and switched between blinks. That little trick taught me simple animation techniques for sure.
And yes, I actually owned the I Love Snoopy album at one point. LOL

Disney by Marvel

Around 1994 or so, Marvel Comics teamed up with the Walt Disney company to publish such titles as Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, the Little Mermaid and the Disney Afternoon.I'm assuming because the Disney Comic line of the early 90's had gone out of business but still had stories to publish?I recently came across a collection of Disney/Marvel books in a back-issue bin at a local comic shop.It seems that The Disney Afternoon comic title was an excuse to give Darkwing Duck his own series, but that's all right with me.The title featured other Disney shows such as Bonkers, Goof Troop, TaleSpin and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers. The title only ran for 10 issues from 94 - 95 then was promptly replaced with a new title, Disney Comic Hits. I believe that the other titles were not selling as well as they hoped for because all of the characters were combined into this single series.Disney Comic Hits even had more Disney characters in their own stories such as Pocahontas and Timon & Pumbaa plus others...I may have to pick up some of those. lol

Christmas Cartoons 8

Next on the list is an episode from the Disney Afternoon lineup, "It's a Wonderful Leaf" is the only Christmas themed story from Darkwing Duck.
The evil docter-turned-mutant-duck-plant, Dr. Bushroot has had enough with the holidays and plans to ruin St. Canard's Christmas by controlling everyone's Christmas tree.
Meanwhile, Drake Mallard (AKA Darkwing Duck) is trying to teach his adopted daughter, Gosylan the spirit of Christmas has more to do with than presents.
After foiling Bushroot's pine tree army, Darkwing returns everyone's stolen presents but his neighbour's the Muddlefoots' presents are left missing.
Gosylan gives her friends her own presents and her dad couldn't be more proud. You can find this episode available on the Darkwing Duck: Volume 2 DVD set from Disney DVD!

Eating Right with Timon and Pumbaa

Here's a couple of public service announcements teaching viewers how to eat right.
My best guess is that these were produced around 1996...?

House of Mouse Clips

Just a couple of scenes from the (in my opinion) last funny, cartoony show from Disney Television Animation.
DVD's coming yet Disney?
