Batman: The Brave & The Bold Humor

Came across some interesting clips of Warner Bros Animation's current Dark Knight series, Batman: The Brave & The Bold. Seems like the production team have been trying to create some humor stories that are headlined by Batmite, Batman's biggest fan who happens to be a magical imp.
First up is a story parodying the 1970's New Scooby-Doo Movies that teamed up popular TV personalities with the Mystery INC. gang. Set in 'modern' times, the short features Scooby-Doo, Batman & Weird Al Yankovic(?).

You can see the writers were trying their best to be funny but the stories themselves fall flat with stiff animation, bad acting and a poor music score. At least they're trying.

Brave and the Bold First Look

"Batman: The Brave and The Bold" seems to boast a unique look with character/background designs that resemble classic comic book art in the vein of Dick Sprang, Alex Toth and Jack Kirby.It is a show that is going to be aimed towards 6 - 11 year olds, but I may check it out for the quality of animation and design, it looks like a lot of fun.
Plus it features an animated Plastic-Man not seen since the 80s!

The Dark Knight

Well, the brand new Batman film opens across the country today!
Will it be the best film version of the Caped Crusader yet? I suppose only time will tell...

Brave and the Bold

Warner Bros Animation is launching yet again another Batman animated series!
The newest interpretation of the Dark Knight features other DC heroes teaming up with the Batman every episode while they get into adventures with a touch of comedy relief.For more info, check the link!
