FROSTY THE SNOWMAN ART ON DVD PACKAGING!
Good to see that Classic Media once again used my FROSTY THE SNOWMAN art on their latest DVD release of the classic 1969 Rankin/Bass Christmas TV special! It would have been nice to use the special's title lettering (shown below, by Paul Coker, Jr.) and the names RANKIN/BASS on the front cover, as they did on their initial FROSTY THE SNOWMAN DVD release a few years ago. Here's the cover to the April 7 - 13 1973 TV GUIDE. This issue's cover story talked about the then-current Saturday morning TV shows. I really remember watching Saturday morning television at this time...Krofft's H.R. PUFNSTUF, Rankin/Bass' THE JACKSON 5, THE BARKLEYS, Filmation's SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, THE BRADY KIDS and more.
