Not exactly the best
Looney Tunes cartoon by
Chuck Jones, but one of the most interesting looking.
Every animation studio in Hollywood was inspired by the simplistic, design-influenced
UPA cartoons during the 50's and 60's. Warner Bros was no different.
Chuck Jones has worked on several cartoons that use very graphic elements and cleverly designed backgrounds and characters.
1962's "Martian Through Georgia" is one of them.
Directed by both
Chuck Jones &
Abe Levitow and
co-directed by
Maurice Noble who was probably responsible for all the great designed backgrounds and layouts.
Here are some wonderful images from this retro-styled cartoon for you to enjoy.
