Rabid Rider 2010
Hey 2010, Make Way for 1964
Road Runner & Coyote 3D Theatrical Cartoons

http://thatsallfolks.com/
The CG animation really captures the look and feel of the classic traditionally animated cartoons of the golden age with a modern twist. I wonder if Warner Bros Animation will produce more (and longer) 3D cartoons?
Can't wait for a DVD/Blu-Ray release of these cartoons to enjoy at home eventually.
Coyote Falls 2010

My only complaint would be the Roadrunner's design - his tail is one big feather? I hope they continue producing more shorts in 3D - but only Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner, it may look really odd putting Bugs and Daffy in a 3D setting.

A short peek at the first of 3 upcoming CGI Roadrunner-Coyote shorts premiering in theaters soon.
Coyote Falls will debut on July 30th in front of "Cats & Dogs 2"...

RoboCat BG Artwork
The 1992 film "Stay Tuned" includes a fun animated segment called "RoboCat" which features the voice talent of the film's stars, John Ritter & Pam Dawber, as they suddenly find themselves as animated mice. Chuck Jones directed the segment while paying homage to his roots at Warner Bros.
The story, music, animation and artwork capture the feel of a classic cartoon from the old days. Here is a collection of the backgrounds that you can see as you watch the segment.

Warner Bros have finally decided to re-launch the classic Looney Tunes franchise to a new generation with a new animated TV series and new CG theatrical cartoon shorts, that will feature The Roadrunner & Wile E. Coyote.
I like the new modern take of the characters and hope they are rebooted with audiences today. Nothing will ever take the place of the classic cartoon short from the Golden Age, but the characters themselves are timeless. As long as they bring the laughs and chuckles, they should be around for a lot longer.

Trail Mix-Up Inside Gags

What kind of underwear does Roger wear? For some reason it's revealed here. Those extra "tents" in the background are a nice touch.

Roger rushes by a sexy poster featuring Jessica(?) riding a long saw. The first sign reads "Watch Your Tool". Both signs were quite visible on the VHS version.

Little Go Beep BG Artwork
September 17th marks the 60th Anniversary of the release of the first Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote cartoon, "Fast and Furry-ous" (1949)!
In celebration, here is a collection of background artwork from the well-crafted modern cartoon "Little Go Beep" (2000).
Directed by Spike Brandt with Art Direction by Alan Bodner and Production Design by Frederick J. Gardner III.
Backgrounds by Bonnie Callahan, Dennis Durrell, Patricia Keppler, Dennis Venizelos and Bill Wray. Titles by Tim Cahill, Chris Duncan, Bill Franks and Craig Kelly.

Actually this cartoon was created in 1999 to celebrate the duo's 50th Anniversary, but wasn't released until 2000. If the cartoon makers had their choice, this was a rare glimpse at what the Baby Looney Tunes series could have been like.
You can add "Little Go Beep" to your cartoon collection by picking up a copy of "Daffy Duck's Quackbusters" on DVD from Warner Home Video!
