Below is the character / tree art and background art that I did for the above RUDOLPH AND FRIENDS DVD cover. The DVD is a collection of public domain Christmas-themed cartoons, including a really cool SANTA cartoon produced by HALAS AND BATCHELOR! It was a pleasure working with Art Director Steve Banes on the East West DVD cover projects. This original art, along with a once-viewed copy of the RUDOLPH AND FRIENDS DVD, is for sale. I'm asking $35.00 for everything...with FREE shipping! E-mail me at powsley@flash.net.

Picked up this DVD at our local 99 Cents store last night! It's a public domain release of THE ABBOTT & COSTELLO CHRISTMAS SHOW, from East West DVD. The release features my art, and I think this is one of the better covers that East West produced that used my art. I like the way then-Art Director, Steve Banes, handled the title placement.

AND EVERYTHING ELSE TOO

Here's a brand-new blog that you'll want to check out! My pal STEVE BANES (aka KARSWELL) has just started the blog, AND EVERYTHING ELSE TOO. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun with terrific content! STEVE also operates the popular pre-comics code horror comic blog, THE HORRORS OF IT ALL!

THE HAUNTED MANSION - GOLDEN PRESS 1970

Leslie and I love the HAUNTED MANSION at DISNEYLAND. We always make it one of our stops when we visit the park. I also love this 1970 Golden Press book based on the sensational attraction. I saw the book posted over at Karswell's terrific blog THE HORRORS OF IT ALL, and wanted to share it with you here. Click on each image for a larger view!
