Here's an interesting item I found while digging through a long forgotten box.
A newspaper clipping featuring the Looney Tunes gang honouring Winnipeg's only NHL hockey team, The Winnipeg Jets.I believe this cel was a limited creation when the franchise moved to Phoenix, Arizona and became the Phoenix Coyotes.

At the time, Winnipeg was celebrating it's own small animation cel craze when an animation cel franchise opened up a local store. I forget the name.
If I had money back then, I would've gone crazy in that gallery!

Hanna Barbera's Peter Puck on DVD

I found a neat little gem on DVD while doing some Christmas shopping, Peter Puck: The Complete Original Series!
Distributed exclusively in Canada by Peace Arch Home Entertainment Inc.
Peter Puck debuted in 1974 on NBC's Hockey Game of the Week and CBC's Hockey Night in Canada. I remember watching these quick little shorts as they were played inbetween periods.
There are a total of 9 shorts with Peter explaining the game of the NHL in easy to understand, animated terms.
Great nostalgia to help reintroduce him to a new generation!Here's a little clip of Peter Puck I found on YouTube:
