This Summer Sizzles With The Three Hottest Women In Horror

Unfortunately Monster Island News doesn't have a 'swimsuit edition' like Sports Illustrated, so this will have to do.

As most of you red-blooded males out there know, the temperature is going way up, and the ladies are wearing way less. So, I decided to crank up the heat a few hundred more degrees by posting some of the latest, sizzling, photos from a group of ladies I like to refer to as the 'Holy Trinity of Scream Queens', Scarlet Salem, Rachel Grubb, and Elske McCain.

It had been a while since we last checked in with these lovely ladies so, I thought that since all three had just recently posted some of their sexiest photos yet, it was the perfect time.

Scarlet Salem (Sarah French)

Scarlet has always been a favorite of MIN readers, but just in case this is your first exposure to the blond from Minnesota, here is her bio (From Wikipedia):

Scarlet Salem is a model and actress from Minnesota. She began modeling in 2007 working steadily in print, fashion, and various websites. Her life long love of the horror genre led to her auditioning for an independent horror film called 'Pajama Party Massacre'. She got the role and loved the experience so much that she sought out other film work. To date she has worked on over two dozen projects with titles such as: 'Terror Overload', 'Killer Biker Chicks', 'Resist Evil Trilogy', 'Strip Club Slasher', and 'Camp Kill'.

In 2010 Scarlet will be working on 'Hallow Point', her first large scale project. The film, being shot in New Orleans, stars a whole slew of genre legends.

In addition to film work, Scarlet can also be seen in various commercials and makes many appearances at film festivals and horror conventions all across the country.

Film career

She began her professional acting career at 25yrs of age in the movie You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre which is a short movie published by NFTS Productions. Before that, she made cameo appearances in Mutilated Movies in 2007 and in two Pawn America productions.

Salem has featured in more than twenty movies since 2006, including The Alphabet of Sex, AfterBirth, Bramburr, Clown Museum of the Damned, Tales Of The Dead: The Radio, and Klownboy Circus of Gore.

In 2009, she will star in the directorial debut from Elske McCain, another modern-day Scream Queen, which is titled "Stripping for Dummies".

She has alongside her boyfriend a Lead Role in the Webseries Scream Queen Campfire, which is directed by Brandon Slagle.

Rachel Grubb

Another MIN Favorite.....and sometimes.....writer, Rachel Grubb is a multi talented dynamo who works her tail off both in front of, and behind the camera.

As of late, Rachel's star is rising, big time.

Again, if you have never had the privilege of seeing any of Rachel's work, here is her bio (From Fixter):

Rachel Grubb graduated college with a degree in English and wrote her first feature length screenplay, in 1999. When the script won Best Breakthrough Screenplay at the 2000 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, she wanted to star in it herself, simply because she didn’t know anyone else to ask. Not wanting to make a fool of herself, she started taking acting classes, and, to her surprise, became heavily involved in the Minnesota film community—as an actor. She traveled to Hollywood for the IMTA Convention in 2003 and took home a trophy for the Sitcom competition, and a medal for Cold Read.

Since then, she has acted in numerous local feature films, including Doomed To Consume, The Monster of Phantom Lake, Harrowville, Group Home, The Romantics, Tales Of The Dead, Horror House, Health Freaks, and Unholy Reunion. More recently, she played a creepy ghost in Dav Kaufman’s 13 Hours in A Warehouse, and Hagra, lead huntress of the evil Liak tribe in Cave Women on Mars. She plays Angeline in One Way Ticket, a film about an arranged marriage couple from West Africa. She and her friend Brooke Lemke have formed Silent-But-Deadly Productions. They have just finished Why Am I In A Box? which Rachel wrote, directed, and starred in.

Elske MacCain

Again, another multi-tasker with curves that won't quit. Like Rachel Grubb, Elske McCain spreads herself around by writing, directing, and starring in films.

Again, in case ya just don't know, here is the low-down on the shapely Elske McCain (From Wikipedia):

Elske McCain is an American film director, actress, producer and screenwriter.

She began watching movies at a young age and dreamed of being in front of the camera. That dream came true in 2004 when Elske was invited to star in Goat Sucker by local film maker Matt Reel. Today she is busy directing and producing her own films, including the cult favorite Jessicka Rabid and Creep Creepersins Vaginal Holocaust. She directed in 2009 his first movie who is called "Stripping For Dummies" and the movie stars Independent actress Scarlet Salem

Though, not as busy in 2010 as she has been in prior years, Elske still has one project in the works (From IMDB):

Instead of loading up on projects in 2010, Elske has opted to spend more time with her family.
