More 80's Animation Heading to DVD
TVshowsonDVD.com has gotten word of 2 future DVD sets that Warner Home Video will be releasing in 2009.1979's Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Hour (link) and the 1985 revival of The Jetsons where they meet their new alien pet, "Orbitty" (link).I hope this means WHV will be considering more classic Hanna-Barbera shows for the future.

Artsy Animation: Martian Through Georgia
Not exactly the best Looney Tunes cartoon by Chuck Jones, but one of the most interesting looking.
Every animation studio in Hollywood was inspired by the simplistic, design-influenced UPA cartoons during the 50's and 60's. Warner Bros was no different.
Chuck Jones has worked on several cartoons that use very graphic elements and cleverly designed backgrounds and characters.
1962's "Martian Through Georgia" is one of them.
Directed by both Chuck Jones & Abe Levitow and co-directed by Maurice Noble who was probably responsible for all the great designed backgrounds and layouts.
Here are some wonderful images from this retro-styled cartoon for you to enjoy. You can add this great looking animated short to your collection by purchasing the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 6!
