I was snooping around the local Disney Store today and came across a very awesome Oswald the Lucky Rabbit figure. It was an instant purchase.
The figure stands roughly 12" and the packaging is excellent as well. Made especially for collectors no doubt, the box has an easy-to-open top which makes it rather easy to slide out the form holding the figure.
There's a brief Oswald history on the back of the box and the foam is covered with a nice golden material. $44.50 CAN, but worth the money indeed.
Teletoon Retro launched back in October of 2007, but more and more, the classic cartoon station seems to be taking a step in the right direction.
Unlike the original Cartoon Network (CN) from the US, Teletoon Retro airs Looney Tunes cartoons. Some are edited, some are not.
With great classics such as The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show, The Porky Pig Show, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Bullwinkle & Rocky, Fat Albert, Rocket Robin Hood, who could ask for anything more?
Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a cable provider that doesn't have this station part of their package. I may just have to switch so I can watch classic cartoons again...
